The Firm is capable of providing various levels of construction management for a wide range of civil and environmental projects. The firm and its senior professionals have provided construction management on projects ranging in construction cost up to $80 million. Construction Management Services have been provided on wastewater facilities, recycling and materials recovery facility projects, industrial facilities, drainage and roadway projects, solid waste facilities and hazardous waste projects. Its extensive experience has permitted this team of professionals to be an integral component of GEA's full service capabilities.

The Construction Management Services Team is composed of a multi-disciplinary staff of experienced professionals including civil engineers, environmental engineers, civil technicians, surveyors and inspectors. They are supported by a staff of experienced engineers, designers, technicians and drafters.

Interaction with the firm's design team is undertaken so that the latest technologies will be implemented with the highest efficiency. State-of-the-art laser and computerized surveying equipment and techniques are employed for data gathering, processing, reporting and construction control either through subcontract with local surveyors or in-house surveyors. In addition, GEA provides CPM scheduling, cost controls and shop drawing monitoring services. GEA has maintained an excellent working relationship with the various regulatory agencies in order to minimize any impacts from changing regulations.

GEA provides full service environmental and geotechnical monitoring and testing ranging from soils and groundwater testing to subsurface investigation programs and installation of monitoring wells. In today's regulatory climate, having this capability in-house provides us with the ability to assess site conditions rapidly and to respond quickly with corrective action while minimizing the impact upon construction progress.

GEA can provide Construction Management and claims consultation services for facilities not designed by the firm. GEA's knowledge and background in the Construction Management field has permitted a smooth transition in these projects, which has allowed their successful completion.
